Highly recommended. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. A perfect place to get you settled in into Peru. I mostly dealt with Kenny, who really goes beyond what you expect from a hostel employee and is such a positive person, but everyone there was friendly. You get all the facilities you need, if a bit basic. The hostel is located in a quiet neighbourhood of Miraflores, but at the same time it's also a walking distance of all must see places of Miraflores. A place to check out!
Great Partners hostel blew me away! I felt very safe and welcome there, and appreciated the cleanliness and colorful decor. The staff was really what made the difference though, they were so friendly and genuinely wanted to chat, help with anything, or just hear about whatever we had explored each day. On our last day at the hostel Kenny went out of his way to take help us find the right bus to get on, literally waiting at a major and chaotic bus stop with us until we got on the bus we needed!
We checked in super late because our plane got in late. When we showed up, at first we couldnu2019t figure out how to get inu2026 the place looked deserted and we didnu2019t know the entrance was on the side of the building. Fortunately we figured it out and the gentleman who checked us in and showed us to our room was extremely accommodating, helpful and nice! I think his name was Kenny? Overall we had a good experience, the breakfast was decent and they stored our luggage for us all day. Thank you!
The location was great for beach access and walking to stores / restaurants. I felt safe walking by myself in the area as a solo female traveler. I needed help getting a taxi during the Lima marathon and was very stressed because none could reach me by the hostel, but the employee (did not get her name!) helped me and went above and beyond. Every employee wanted to know about my trip and what I did each day. I did not meet anyone else in hostel, which is the only thing I would say negatively.
We loved our stay. The hostel is only a few minutes from the coast path, restaurants + convenience stores + a bar over the street.
The staff couldnu2019t be more helpful and friendly and really made me and my girlfriend feel at home. Special mention to Kenny and Rosario who went above and beyond to ensure our trip to Ica was on the safest route. Kenny gave us so much advice and was happy to help with anything even when we had left Lima! Such great staff really focused on helping with anything.
